Teddie is a brand that sells old-fashioned peanut butter. It was formed in 1925 and is a family owned and operated the company. It is a leading natural peanut butter brand in the Northeast and contains 100% natural, fresh roasted and ground peanuts. Since its initiation, they use only 100% USA-grown and harvested peanuts, thus providing healthy and wholesome products.  

This brand was formed by Michael Hintlian and James Hintlian. Michael initially produces a variety of candies and nuts to be sold for the retailers. During the great depression, peanut butter seemed to be the most affordable source of protein, hence the Leavitt Corporation started producing Teddie Peanut Butter. When James Hintlian joined the family business, he expanded this brand as a household staple and soon this became the leading natural peanut butter brand in New England. Now, currently, the third generation of the family is working for the brand.
