Micro-organisms like fungi on the scalp have been considered as the main reason of development of dandruff. This was suspected to be wrong and a team was established to study how a large number of variables in the ecosystem of human scalp interact. After the experiments were conducted, it was found that relation between the bacteria and dandruff was comparatively much stronger than fungi.
