Curd : When should you consume!

Morning is a cleansing time of the day and if you eat yogurt during the morning, it may lead to allergies, feeling of heaviness, excess mucus especially if you mix it with fruits or muesli. Yogurt should be diluted with warm water with the help of few spices like cumin, cardamom or ginger to get its maximum benefits. These spices help in its digestion. Ayurveda says that curd induces heat in the body if it is consumed at night. The best time to consume it is post lunch or snacks.
