Evidence supports that the theory of cancer risk is scant, but doctors recommend prevention. There is no definite proof but the medical union is split on whether or not infertility treatment in women particularly increases the risk of ovarian and breast cancers. Research results show no major risk of cancer but some oncologists consider it best to take prevention.
