Scientists, apparently have found an alternative to painkiller Morphine which is equally effective and with lesser side-effects. It is not even addictive. Morphine is derived from the opium poppy which acts on the receptor in the brain that reduces pain but it is also known to affect a different receptor that leads to breathing problems in case of overdose.
