A research has found that drawing pictures of information which need to be remembered is relatively reliable and strong trick to enhance memory. The study shows that drawing helped to create a better cohesive trace of memory that integrates visual, motor and semantic information. Results show that drawing works better than listing physical features, creating mental pictures or viewing actual pictures of the objects depicted by words. Moreover, the quality of drawing did not seem to matter.
