Why do we hear the same sounds differently?

No, you are not crazy and this is not unbelievable. It does happen that the same sounds are heard in an entirely different manner by different people. This is because of the differences in our individual skull structure or our bone density. Even the smallest differences can lead to a change in the ways those sounds are received by our brain. This changes the frequency at which our bones vibrate as we hear those sounds.
