A research has found that drinking cherry juice can lower your blood pressure significantly especially in males with early hypertension. It showed results which were better than those received through medication. Findings show that men who consumed a particularly sour cherry juice saw a significant reduction in their blood pressure in three hours. The result was compared to that of anti-hypertensive drugs and was found to be good enough.
Some health experts even claim that juicing is better for some people than eating whole fruits and veggies because it helps to absorb the nutrients better and relieves you from working on fiber. Breakfast juices help you to reduce the risk of cancer, boosts immune system and helps to eliminate toxins from the body. It also aids in digestion and weight loss. 101 varieties of health drinks were launched by the Kerala government on Wednesday, 17th February ’16 with a motto to bring about total prohibition by the end of 2023. This initiative will be called ‘Subodham’ which is against alcoholism and substance abuse. The drinks will be called “Magical Drinks” and will be made using tender coconut water, cucumber, mint, milk and Indian sarsaparilla. These drinks are not meant as a substitute for liquor but as healthy retreats which will help cleanse the organs of the human body. They will soon be introduced in the market.
