A new study found out that regular consumption of carrots helps to maintain a healthy weight which lowers the risk of breast cancer. In this research, women were found with great levels of carotenes in their blood. Carotenes are vitamins which are found usually in vegetables like red peppers and spinach. They help in preventing the development of certain types of breast cancer. Thus, based on this study, regular consumption of carrots is recommended to women.
