Prakrut, a three-day organic food festival began in Rajkot city on the 19th December. Farmers from across India displayed their produce and organic recipes at the festival. A study published in the British Journal of Nutrition last year showed that organic crops and crop-based foods had 18 to 69 more antioxidant content than conventionally grown crops.
